About Craig Donnelly

Founder, Creative Director, Motion Designer

I’m a motion designer and creative director, and the founder of The Mood Inc., a boutique motion design studio specializing in bold, story-driven visuals. I’ve been designing for screens big and small for years, starting as the first motion designer for Saturday Night Live, and later creating graphics for The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, SYFY, MLB Network, and more.

Over the years, I’ve partnered with leading brands like Grey Goose, New Balance, Coca-Cola, American Express, Verizon, and Mastercard, and collaborated with media giants including HBO, MSNBC, and TruTV. From live event visuals to broadcast packaging and branded content, my work always blends creativity, storytelling, and technical craft.

I’m especially excited by how new technologies like real-time 3D, generative AI, and virtual production are shaping the future of motion design. At the end of the day, I just love making things move and helping clients feel like they’re in good hands and in a better mood.
