The event highlighted Jennifer Hudson’s tribute to the legacy of Aretha Franklin, connecting music history, empowerment, and experience.
I led the design and animation of the social-media assets and crafted the broadcast graphics system for the live event, aligning motion, brand identity, and experiential design to ensure visual continuity across all platforms and live production.

I designed the original visual identity for Chris Hayes’ podcast Why Is This Happening? and later returned to refresh the look for its current run. The show dives into the big, complex questions behind our most urgent headlines.
MSNBC - Bag Man Podcast Promo
I designed and animated this promo for Bag Man, Rachel Maddow’s gripping podcast about the forgotten bribery scandal of Vice President Spiro Agnew. Building on the original branding by McKinney, I crafted motion design that echoed the podcast’s tone, part political thriller, part historical exposé. The piece supported MSNBC’s launch of the series and helped bring its narrative to life through bold, cinematic visuals.
MSNBC - Redacted Mueller Report Promo
I created this promo for MSNBC during the release of the redacted Mueller report, highlighting the lack of transparency and the public’s right to the full story. Ralph Lauren Home - The RL-CF1 Chair Carbon Weave Macro
Created in collaboration with CVLT for Ralph Lauren Home, this 3D animation visualizes the intricate carbon fiber pattern featured in The RL-CF1 Chair. Using Cinema 4D and X-Particles, I simulated a dynamic weave of fibers coming together at a microscopic scale — a study in structure, precision, and luxury materiality.
The piece was designed to feel both tactile and architectural, capturing the technical artistry behind the RL-CF1’s design language. Subtle lighting and motion treatments evoke the quiet sophistication synonymous with the Ralph Lauren brand, merging craftsmanship with modern innovation.

Built entirely for mobile and social platforms, the campaign used authentic customer stories to position Birchbox as a brand that understands real routines and real lives.
I designed and animated 2D motion elements in After Effects that integrated seamlessly with the live-action footage, helping connect each scene as the talent moved through different moments of their day. The animation style leaned into a modern, editorial aesthetic, a clean, design-forward use of 2D graphics that added rhythm, energy, and visual storytelling without overpowering the human focus.
Salonpas - Retail Campaign Series
Created in collaboration with Fancy Rhino, a creative agency based in scenic Chattanooga, this project brought a playful edge to Salonpas’ retail campaign. The series featured three short 3D animations promoting key product benefits - more medicine, better flexibility, and 20% larger - tailored for placement in Walmart, Rite Aid, and Walgreens.
I designed and animated each spot in Cinema 4D, focusing on clean product motion and simple, impactful storytelling that highlighted the brand’s evolution.

Working with photographer and artist Steven Sebring, the piece was captured using more than 100 cameras to create a 360° rotational sequence that physically fuses the two characters. I contributed to the motion design and compositing, translating Sebring’s imagery into an eerie, fluid transformation underscored by Emily Wells’ track “Mama’s Gonna Give You Love.”
The promo received the 2015 Clio Key Art Silver Award for Audio/Visual Technique, recognized for its innovative fusion of photography, performance, and design.

Created at McCann New York for the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, this animated piece added a surprising dose of fun to a medical campaign. I designed and animated a breakdancing stent in Cinema 4D, using Mixamo motion capture data to choreograph realistic dance moves with a metallic, anatomical twist. I was a early adaptor of exploring motion capture in 3D workflows.
The result was a playful and memorable animation that brought humor and personality to a highly technical subject — showing how motion design can humanize even the most unexpected products.
Saturday Night Live – “Big Love” Parody
Created for Saturday Night Live, this parody recreated the iconic opening of HBO’s Big Love, replacing the original cast with SNL performers in a stylized nod to the show’s ice-skating sequence.
I supervised the shoot, directing the actors to perform choreographed movements that mirrored the original open. To replicate the look of ice skating on a studio floor, I suggested placing the cast on roller skates, capturing authentic movement for the parody. I also photographed the 30 Rock ice-skating rink to use as texture references when compositing the final sequence in After Effects.
The finished open and close matched the tone and beauty of the original title sequence, earning high praise from Kenny Aymong, SNL’s Supervising Producer, for its craftsmanship and polish.

One of my favorite pieces to note in my career: Over 25 million YouTube views, and over 7.1 million TikTok views in recent years.
Saturday Night Live - “Kanish”
Created for Saturday Night Live and written by Bill Hader and John Mulaney, this sketch reimagined a 1970s detective show intro starring Steve Buscemi as Kanish.
We directed a photo shoot with Buscemi, capturing a series of expressive poses and improvised tumbles that perfectly matched the retro tone. I transformed those stills into a stop-motion-style title sequence, combining vintage typography, freeze frames, and film textures in After Effects to complete the nostalgic look.
Saturday Night Live - “Christine O’Donnell Campaign Ad” Parody
Created for Saturday Night Live, this political sketch parodied the now-infamous “I’m Not a Witch” campaign ad from 2010 Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell, featuring Kristen Wiig delivering the monologue.
I was entrusted with a full 90 seconds of airtime to design, composite, and animate the entire parody, taking the green screen footage of Kristen and building the complete spot in After Effects to replicate the polish of a real campaign ad while heightening its comedic absurdity.
Saturday Night Live - “The Fast and the Bi-Curious” Trailer Parody
Created for Saturday Night Live, this parody trailer spoofed The Fast and the Furious franchise, starring Seth Rogen and Andy Samberg. The sketch reimagined the film’s hyper-masculine action tropes with a comedic twist, replacing fast cars and street races with awkward intimacy and over-the-top melodrama.
I recreated all titles, visual effects, and motion treatments to perfectly match the look and pacing of the original Fast and Furious trailer. Every cut, flare, and transition was built from scratch in After Effects & C4D to capture the glossy, high-octane style of a big-budget Hollywood preview, with just the right amount of parody.
Saturday Night Live - Weekend Update Open (Seth Meyers Era)
When Seth Meyers took over Weekend Update as a solo anchor, Saturday Night Live wanted to preserve the familiar look and feel of the previous open he shared with Amy Poehler. However, the original design studio no longer had the project files and declined to rebuild it.
Working from scratch with only SNL’s archived image assets, I recreated the entire Weekend Update open, meticulously matching the original design, timing, and motion. The new version seamlessly replaced the old and aired throughout Seth Meyers’ tenure as solo host.
